still pondering easter

i realized i never brought closure to my lenten photo project, which inspired me to take these photos. the song lyrics that follow are from a song i used to sing as a child at vacation bible school--anyone else remember that? i am not feeling the first part, but i'm fully embracing the second part.

good friday:

easter sunday:

river of life

i've got a river of life flowin' out of me
makes the lame to walk and the blind to see
opens prison doors, sets the captives free
i've got a river of life flowin' out of me

spring up, o well (gush, gush, gush, gush)
within my soul
spring up, o well
and make me whole
spring up, o well
and give to me
that life eternally.

Sorry I didn't get to see these photos in Lent. Looking at them on this side of Easter, I wonder - what about continuing the project in the "Great 50 Days" of Easter? In a world of brokenness, where do you see resurrection?
